LBC Business Solutions graced the 10th Philippine Business and Entrepreneurs’ Expo (PBEX) held last August 30 to September 01, 2019 at Megatrade Hall 2 of SM Megamall.
Aside from showcasing their logistics solutions for businesses, LBC also imparted information to its guests.
LBC PH Retail Sales and Marketing Manager Andrew Dale Camandang gives an overview of the country’s E-Commerce industry, the pain points of online sellers and shoppers alike, and how LBC’s payment solutions like Cash on Delivery and Cash on Pickup options aim to solve these hurdles.
In another session, LBC Business Solutions Account Manager Jocelyn Valera mentioned statistics that there are 67 million active Filipino online users in 2018 with 12% increase year-on-year. With the rise of the Filipino netizen population is the rise of fraud in e-commerce, which also affects couriers like LBC, in which they have implemented safety measures in handling and delivering packages all over its branches nationwide.
Valera also introduced the LBC Connect app available on Google Play and App Store which makes delivery tracking faster and easier.
LBC Business Solutions Account Manager Joselito Meilat stated that Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are the backbone of the Philippine economy, quoting statistics that 99.6% of registered business are SMEs which handles 70% of the country’s total working population.
Meilat advises all SMEs present in the event that to cope up with globalization, businesses should increase their knowledge by participating in programs, seminars and conferences; partner with established organizations; invest in technology, learn to adapt and encourage innovation. Businesses should use globalization as an advantage to expand themselves.
